Just like you can be surrounded by peers who persuade you to do things you DON’T want to do, you can also be surrounded by peers who convince you to AVOID doing things you don’t want to do.
If your friend (or group of friends) tries to steer you clear of alcohol and drugs, and instead motivates you to work hard and maybe exercise with them, they are definitely worth keeping!
Don’t forget that there is no such thing as “too much” positive peer pressure. You, too, can help your friend(s) stay on the right track. Or better yet, help those under the influence of negative peer pressure and show them how a good friend should act. ?
