The school year has once again begun, and we try our best to balance busy school life with health and wellness. Not only are the following tips important for our health, but they can actually make us better and more productive students.
Eat Healthy – have a good breakfast; it’s fuel for our bodies. During the day, eat nutritious foods and snack on vegetables, fruit and nuts. Are you in a hurry every day? Try this meal prep to save time.
Keep Your Body Moving – Besides walking when you can and taking the stairs, join a sports team or take an exercise class regularly (like yoga or Zumba).
Get Enough Sleep – a good night’s sleep (7-9 hours) will have you feeling at your best the following day.
Take Some Time to Rest – even on the busiest day, take at least a few minutes for yourself, to just sit back and relax or enjoy quality time with friends. Your mind and body will thank you for it.
Try those tips and let us know how it goes!
