Falling Asleep in Class? Try These Energy Boosts

todayOctober 7, 2018 13

Background

Sitting down in class and having to study for half the day can be exhausting. Studying can be so exhausting in fact, that you might find yourself falling asleep in the middle of class. But you don’t need to worry, because I am going to give you some energy boosts that will keep you alert and awake.

First things first, keep hydrated. We tend to forget to drink water because we are so busy with school, but it’s important for your concentration and you don’t want to suddenly faint. You should be drinking 8 glasses of water a day, minimum! If you are having trouble remembering to keep hydrated, there are now apps you can download that will remind you when to drink (Thank goodness we have technology).

Bananas are great energy boosters. Pack one in your bag or even slice one up with your breakfast cereal and you will be raring to go.

Apples also give a great boost of energy to your day, proving that an apple a day doesn’t only keep the doctor away.

Remember Popeye the sailor and his cans of spinach? Spinach is a high source of iron, giving energy boosts and helping us stay fresh and awake.

I hope this helps you in finding a solution not to fall asleep in class anymore. Now let’s put it in to action!
