[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After reading all our sporty articles here on TeenBuzz’s Movement and Fitness Month, I wouldn’t be surprised if you chose to start a sports career. The thing is, not all of us are in for a career as an athlete. So, what can you do if you still want to be surrounded by activity all day long?

Here are a few options for cool sports careers for non-athletes who enjoy being in the world of sport:

Talent Scout
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t necessarily need a professional playing background to be a talent scout. If you can bring something unique to the table, and spot attributes, qualities and weaknesses that others overlooked, then you are perfect for a scout position.

Sports Psychologist
After having a background in clinical psychology, working with professional athletes is a fascinating field to specialize in. Sports legends like Michael Jordan, Nick Faldo and Tom Brady have all utilized the services of a “mental health coach” to great success. Jordan even once remarked that mental strength represented ‘80% of the game’.

Sports Journalist or Social Media Manager
The only thing that sports fans enjoy more than watching games is talking about them. There is a huge media market for it: newspapers, websites, media profiles, and even entire TV channels dedicated to nothing else. As a journalist or a social media manager, you get to offer your own thoughts, observations and predictions. You might even get to interview sports stars!

Which cool career would you go for? Let us know why 🙂
