Background

Here at TeenBuzz, we are dedicating a whole month to pets and animal rights! We believe every dog and cat deserves a loving home. Some people open their houses not only to one pet, they even have several of them! This doesn’t stop at that, they also adopt unusual pet choices. Here are the most famous & most animal-loving celebs we found that do that too.

Mandy Moore, Singer & “This is us” TV show star, has rescued six pets: four cats and two dogs she now takes care of. Mariah Carey has eight Jack Russell terriers. Selena Gomez is also a big-time animal lover and she has rescued and adopted five dogs… so far.

Ian Somerhalder has three cats and more than 9 dogs. He also runs the “Ian Somerhalder Foundation”, which works to make a positive impact on the planet and its creatures: plants, animals and humans.

Oprah Winfrey has five golden retrievers, two springer spaniels and a cocker spaniel. Above all of them, at the top of the dog-raising list, we have the singer Miranda Lambert who has several pets, including 20 dogs, that she rescued(!).

If having dogs and cats as pets is not enough, Reese Witherspoon has several animals which she considers pets, including donkeys, goats and pigs. Paris Hilton, the reality TV star, has 35 pets, including seven dogs, three cats, six ferrets, a pig, and a pony! So. Many. Pets!

What do you think about that; would you have so many pets? Let us know!

Check out Working with Wild Wolves for more options to be surrounded by animals all day long!

Its purpose is to promote the benefits of a vegan diet, veganism and the term “Vegan”. So, what is Veganism?  It’s avoiding all acts of cruelty against animals.
