Can’t find anything you like in the shops? Design it yourself! That’s what Isabella Rose Taylor did. She was only 13 when she presented her Spring 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week. Isabella’s parents always encouraged her to follow her dreams, telling her that she didn’t have to wait until she was older to be her own boss.

She was only 8 when she started experimenting with mixed media while finger-painting. Attending a summer sewing camp gave her practical experience in what it takes to make her own clothes. Making clothes for friends and families turned from a hobby into a thriving business.

Now studying at Parsons in New York City, Isabella’s clothes can be purchased from her online store or Nordstrom’s. When she’s not following her passion for fashion, she enjoys doing Pilates, walking her dogs, hanging out with friends, and watching reruns.
